Works Christmas Night Out

Earrings (My Mums) / Dress - River Island (Similar) / Shoes - Dolly Daydream

So last Sunday was my works Christmas night out. This is what I wore. I got this dress last year, and I have only worn it once. As the night was themed glitz & glam I wanted to wear this. I put a split up the leg myself. This dress is what Christmas is all about, sparkly, long and glamourous.

Grey Dress Black Boots

Coat - H&M / Dress - River Island / Boots - River Island / Bag - Mulberry / Watch - Chanel

So I went shopping the other day and bought this beaut of a dress, I have had my eye on it for a while now. I just had to buy it when I saw my size. I love the high neck and the length. Its perfect for these cold Winter days. I have added my over the knee boots to give the outfit something extra. I also added an oversized coat, layering is key when it comes to Winter. You want to be warm as well as fashionable!

Dolly Daydream Christmas Shoot - BTS

Model: Elisha Cieslar / Make Up Artist: Leah Craven / Styling - Me & Elizabeth Smith / Photographer: Mark Leeming

Here are some more pictures of what went on behind the photos. The sun was so bright so we had to block it out. Its such a light room that we were in as well. But Mark has done an amazing job editing the photos.

Dolly Daydream Christmas Shoot - BTS Outfits

Here are a few more behind the scenes pictures from our Dolly Daydream Christmas shoot. These are some of the outfits we used. All the outfits are from Dolly Daydream, the shoes are mine and the models own. For the shoot we had so many ideas of what we wanted to do, it took us a while to plan it out and get things sorted. We all had different ideas, but as we got into the shoot none of them plans came to light. We just worked with what we had. We turned the place into a party scene, we put the Christmas tree up and made it look as though it was the end of the party. We used party outfits of course. No Christmas is complete without a sparkly outfit. We kept it simple with the accessories and shoes. We just wanted the dresses to be the main focus. It was so much fun to be a part of. We all enjoyed making it happen, it might have not gone to how we planned but it turned out so much better.

Coat Loving

Hat - Dolly Daydream / Coat - Laundry Boutique / Top - Miss Guided / Trousers - River Island (Similar) / Shoes - M&S (Similar)/ Vivienne Westwood Bag - Selfridges (Similar)/ Watch - Chanel

Now this post is all about this amazing red coat. Can we just take a minute to appreciate this coat! The minute it came into my work I feel in love with the cut, shape, length and colour. I put an all black outfit on so it made the red in the coat pop. The material is quite thin but thick enough to keep you warm. You can easily wear a thick jumper underneath. It has pockets which I love about coats. Its the same shape as the Chloe coat Kim Kardashian was seen in. Laundry Boutique also do a cream, black and white check, stone, grey, red and navy. I have gone for a simple look just wearing a black roll neck, long sleeve top and wide leg trousers. I added some simple black heels and a bag. I also added a floppy hat for a bit of glam.

Knit & Skirt Combo

Jumper - River Island / Skirt - Dorothy Perkins (Similar) / Trainers - Nike (Similar) / Bag - Accessorize / Watch - Chanel

A bit of a mix look today, I would normally wear a jumper with some jeans but I wanted to go for a different look. So I decided to pair it with a midi skirt. I am loving jumpers at the minute and River Island are spot on at the minute with their knitwear. This one is a thick knit, has a roll neck and has zip detail, you can wear the zips open or closed. I went for the zips open to try and get much of the skirt on show. Who else is loving tucking their hair into a jumper? It gives a cosy and comfy vibe off. Now onto the shoes, at first I was going to pair this outfit with some heels. Then I thought, no I'l mix it up a bit and put trainers with it. Im pleased with the outcome as it gives a bit of edge to the look. I added a nude clutch to keep with the neutral tones.
