Now we are talking! Milan Fashion Week, has defiantly caught my eye already. Lots of coats and knitwear.
Slip dresses seem to be a big hit for Fall 2016! Totally glad I have bought some slip dresses, add a little leather jacket, PU boots and a neck tie, chic outfit sorted.
Structured coats are my favourite, its all about the coat for fall/winter.
There are quite a lot of vibrant prints and colours around, this looks amazing on the catwalks but its not my kind of thing. I love monochrome and neutral colours.
There is still a lot of lace & ruffles coming through on the Milan catwalks.
Strong silhouettes are my all time favourite, whether its in the form of a coat, top or dress I love a good shape to an outfit.
I always look forward to the Max Mara shows, they just make the most amazing coats.
So I have loved Milan Fashion Week so far, lets see what else it brings!

I am too happy Alexander McQueen are back! I totally loved the suits, they are not your normal tailored suits. They are an Alexander McQueen kind of suit, which is amazing! I am so glad they are back! Check out that Whistles coat ... I mean how chic?  Loved LFW, still didn't see anything that caught my attention and made me WOW. As of yet anyway, there is still Milan & Paris!

I adore chunky knits, any item that is knitwear I just love. But I just can't seem to find any that I actually like on the catwalk. Isn't that what Fall is about? Chunky knits and coats? These are just all the outfits I just think are amazing. There is nothing thats standing out to me. But I do like minimal outfits. There seems to be a lot of lace coming through on the catwalks which is giving a very romantic feel to the outfits. Also a lot of floral prints. I also love the strong silhouettes that are showing, Burberry coats are just amazing the shape and the detail!

So as New York Fashion Week comes to an end, I wanted to look back at some of the last shows. Again I was drawn to monochrome colour palettes, strong silhouettes and tailored suits. Again no knitwear is standing out to me, or any coats for that matter, other than the odd few. There seems to be a lot of slip dresses on the catwalk, which I really like at the moment. They are just so effortless and classic. I am also a fan of how suits are changing, with different fabrics and different cuts.

Now its onto London Fashion Week.

Tuesday Details

Jumper - New Look / Jeans - New Look / Shoes - River Island / Bag - Topshop (Similar) / Watch - Chanel / iPhone 6s

I love wearing a casual outfit for work. I'm stuck in an office all day so its nice to be comfy but still look smart. You can't really go wrong with a black jumper and some denim jeans. I added my lace up flats to smarten the outfit up a bit, and a cross body bag. I need my phone on me to check all the social media sites and to check whats going on in the world of fashion. A simple, but casual outfit for work.

Fashion Haul 15/2/16

Black Lace Dress - New Look
Black Dress - Zara
Stripe Culottes - River Island (Similar)
Tie Knitted Top - Zara
Tie Stripe Skirt - River Island
Stripe Knit - New Look
Knitted Skirt - Zara

So yeah, I kind of went shopping yet again. What a surprise, its all black and white. I went to the Trafford Centre on Wednesday night and got carried away shopping. I went into River Island, to swap the stripe culottes for a smaller size, and ended up getting a skirt while I was there. So that put me in the mood to shop. Next I went into Zara and the merchandising was all monochrome, so you know I just had to. I bought this gorgeous black tunic/dress that I have been eyeing up for a while. Also I got this knitted suit which is amazing! Totally in love with that, it will be amazing to mix and match with other things. Then onto New Look where this monochrome stripe jumper just caught my eye instantly. Then I found this beauty of a black dress with delicate lace trim detail.

So I should probably stop spending for a while haha!
