Insta - March

Instagram - marielakelly1

Here is my Instagram for March. In the past I have struggled to find a good feed with my fashion. But I kind of like my feed at the minute. It just tells a story about my style. I can't believe Instagram is changing. I don't think it is going to do anyone any favours, but what can you do. Its just going to become like Facebook where you have to pay for people to see your posts. I think brands are really going to struggle with this new update. I only use Instagram as a scrap book of pictures of my style and fashion. I think I am going to use twitter a lot more now rather than Instagram.

Mini March Haul

Waistcoat - New Look
Trousers - River Island
Top - River Island
Jumper - River Island
Dress - New Look (Khaki Version)
Phone Case - H&M

I haven't really been shopping this month, yeah I have bough the odd thing. But nothing to extreme. I went to the Trafford Centre on Wednesday night and decided to treat myself. I went into River Island, there was so many things I could of bought but decided to go easy on the spending. So I got a few things, obviously black and white. I love tailored trousers especially ones with ties so they give you more of a silhouette. I also got a kimono tie style top which is so nice. It would look amazing with some white jeans in summer. I then got this white spring jumper with cut out detail at the back. It would look gorgeous with some ripped skinny jeans.
Then I went into New Look and couldn't really find anything but then I came across this white shirt dress and grey stripe waistcoat and I thought they looked amazing together. I can style them both so many ways.
The phone case was a present from a friend at work but I thought I would put it in with this haul.

Knitted Two Piece

Coat - M&S (Similar) / Jumper - River Island (Similar)  / Skirt - River Island (Similar) / Boots - River Island (Similar)/ Bag - Topshop (Similar)

How amazing is this two piece? I mean its the two piece from heaven! Its so comfy and warm, yet very stylish. Its also very versatile. You can pair the jumper with some leather look trousers and some boots. I paired this look with a tailored coat and some PU boots. I added a cross body bag.
I couldn't find any of this stuff on the website so I have linked similar items.

#StepIntoSpring with Boohoo

I was kindly sent these absolutely beautiful lace up heels in nude by Boohoo. I was asked to pick a pair of shoes for their #StepIntoSpring campaign. I had a look through the website and I couldn't really see a pair that shouted Spring to me. Then I came across these beauties and decided to pick them. (They also have them in black). I didn't really want to pick black as thats what I always go for. These shoes just remind me of spring! They will also go with quite a lot of outfits. Can you believe these shoes are under £30! They look so expensive.  Here is how I styled these shoes.
Mac Coat - H&M (Similar) / Top - Laundry Boutique / Jeans - Laundry Boutique (Similar) / Clutch - Accessorise (Similar) / Heels - Boohoo c/o  (Black Version)

Boohoo also asked me to explain what my favourite things about Spring are.

So my favourite things about Spring are;
The weather. I totally love the weather when its not too cold and not hot, its just right. It just feels so fresh.
Flowers start to bloom and everything starts to turn green again.
I am all for wearing black, but in Spring I want to try and go outside my comfort zone and wear more neutral colours. Nudes, whites, khaki & grey.
Ripped Jeans. Spring is the time you can wear really ripped jeans. Denim is also my favourite thing about spring. You can wear it with so many things.
Spring time layering. I love layering outfits. Putting a mac on over an outfit just gives it something so much more.

My outfit inspiration for this look was of course Gigi Hadid! Her look just made me think of spring straight away. So I got my outfit together and thought these Boohoo shoes would go perfect with the outfit. I love how it turned out.

Those Dungarees

Hat - Miss Selfridge / Coat - Topshop (Similar)/ Jumper - New Look / Dungarees - Laundry Boutique / Shoes - F&F Clothing  (Similar)

I am really loving dungarees at the moment. I have been looking for a black denim pair for a while. I had seen some around but not ones that I liked.  Until we had a delivery at work. I just needed to get myself a pair. They are so comfortable. The 90's are definitely making a come back. I actually like it, but I like to put my own spin on the trend with monochrome of course. I paired the dungarees with this amazing jumper from New Look. It just had my name written all over it. I also added my fave jacket of all time. It just gives the look a casual kick. But I smartened the look up with these monochrome shoes.
I also had to add my hat!
